About the Membrane Management Program
The new US Water Services Membrane Management Program (MMP) is designed to help you maximize system performance. Just as importantly, this program, which is unique to the industry, can help you manage the cost of membrane replacement. We designed our cleaning system with the capability to extend membrane soak times, reverse flow directions and elevate temperatures to get optimum removal of contaminants. The system also allows us to performance test each membrane after cleaning to assure that it meets requirements for your application.
Program Details
You sign up for the contract that works best for the size of RO you are operating. You will be charged a monthly fee throughout the year. For this fee, you will receive new membranes so that you can swap out a portion of your system each month, and send them to US Water Services for off-site cleaning**. Once cleaned and performance tested, they will be returned to you, so that you can swap out the next set of membranes for cleaning. This way, you can regularly keep membranes in rotation, and keep the performance of your system at its peak. Each year that you renew your contract, you will receive more new membranes, allowing you to retire your oldest membranes. This allows you to avoid the large cost associated with replacing an entire set of membranes every 3-5 years.
