Kurita America's oil and gas industry chemistries are designed to increase operational efficiency for an operator’s production and transmission systems. This is accomplished by increasing production and transmission throughput, reducing costs, protecting and prolonging the life of assets, all while maintaining high safety standards for employees, equipment and the environment. 

Flow assurance chemistries control or remove deposits like paraffin, asphaltenes, scale and black powder. Removing such deposits reduces  system downtime and increases production by eliminating plugs, blockages and equipment inefficiency. Flow Assurance products include:

  • Iron Oxide/Sulfide Dissolvers (black powder)

Asset integrity of a production system is enhanced by minimizing equipment damage from Microbial Influenced Corrosion (MIC), under deposit corrosion, as well as corrosion from sweet gas (carbon dioxide), sour gas (hydrogen sulfide) and oxygen. Asset Integrity products include:

  • Combination Products (Scale/Corrosion)

Phase separation technologies are designed to increase production, sell oil and dispose of produced water efficiently. With these chemistries, we focus on increasing efficiency while driving down the total cost of operations. Phase Separation products include:
